Journalist Atom Araullo has made headlines online when he switched over to ABS-CBN’s rival network GMA-7. Despite certain rumors circulating at the time of his pivotal decision, he says that he left behind no hard feelings, saying that he’s been grateful for what ABS-CBN has done for him and how they molded him into the person he is now.

On the difference between the two networks, he says, “It’s basically the same work. It’s just a little different, just try to tweak it a little bit.

“Again, very thankful to ABS-CBN which has been my home for more than ten years and I did a lot of good documentaries there as well, people seem to forget that.”

He stayed with ABS-CBN for around a decade’s worth of time, and has wanted a different change in perspective once he joined GMA-7.

“It takes a while for me to get settled,” Araullo said. “It’s just my personality but it’s just a matter of time.

“Certainly, my first few months with GMA have been very productive.

“I’ve been working with great people also. I just look forward to doing more documentaries and stories.”
