Internationally acclaimed singer Celine Dion reminisces about the time when she sang a duet with Filipino singer Charice Pempengco, now known as Jake Zyrus.

Of the encounter, she says of Zyrus, “My jaw is still dislocated. [Jake is] a big talent.

“I wish him the very best and I am very proud that I had given him the moment.”

Dion will be having her first concert in the country on January 19th, at the MOA Arena. This will serve as a continuation of a concert that she was to have in the Philippines 4 years prior, although due to certain circumstances, the concert had to be cancelled.

On TV Patrol, the singer apologized to her Filipino fans for what happened back in 2014. She said that she was not in a good condition to hold the concert as she had to cope with the passing of her husband.

“If I may apologize again to the fans. The fact that we had to cancel the tour, it was hard. But it was, I’m sure you understand…”
