In a conversation with PEP.ph, renowned actress Sylvia Sanchez dishes out on the advice that she’d give to aspiring celebrities—respect.

She tells of an incident wherein she reminded a young star to recall their manners, as it was said that the star in question snubbed their other co-stars.

(It’s not an excuse to say that you’re shy when you’re disrespecting other people. If you can’t greet me, at least greet the senior celebrities. I’ve experienced that, too.)

(It’s more disrespectful to go on set and not acknowledge your co-stars than not showing up at all. Even a smile would do.)

“Bullsh*t ‘yan sa akin. (That’s bullsh*t),” she exclaims. “Kung nag-hi ka sa set at hindi ka pinansin, so what?” (If you say hello, and they ignore you, so what?)
