North Korea and South Korea Now Planning Peace Talks for the First Time! Is This The End of the War?
The government of North Korea has finally accepted the proposal of South Korea to engage in peace talks between their countries. This is the first positive response South Korea has received since it first initiated the proposal 2 years ago.
High ranking officials from both countries will be meeting to talk about how they can achieve a more peaceful relationship.
The meeting is set to happen on January 9, after the birthday of North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un. It will be hosted at the Peace House in the Village of Panmunjom.
It is rumored that the two countries will talk about strengthening Inter-Korean Relationshops along with the upcoming Pyeongchang Olympic Games.
For now, the delegates are still streamlining the details of the event to make sure that no problems will arise regarding the schedules of the appointed officials who will be joining the historical event.
