One phrase that got the attention of many millennials last 2017 was actress Nadine Lustre’s reaction to allegations regarding her and boyfriend James Reid living together.

“C’mon guys! It’s 2017,” she said on TV Patrol.

Although she has gone through different issues this year, she decided to somewhat put an optimistic spin to her controversial statement.

Lustre posted last December 31, 2017 on her Instagram story a message that radiates positivity and strength, “Leaving all the nega[tive], fake, malarkey in 2017. If you’re one of them, bye FELICIA.”

Along with that, she also posted an edited picture of herself with the quote “C’mon, guys. It’s 2018.”

It was last July 2017 that she let go of the iconic phrase, when asked in an interview if the speculations between Reid and her were true.

Her full quote reads, “I mean, I’m not being rude naman. If that was true, so what?… It’s not new anymore. Like, there are younger couples na mas young pa sa akin na [nagli-live in]… It’s normal na, e. ] (There are couples younger than us that live together. It’s already normal.)
