Joross Gamboa, bitter ba sa kaniyang co-star na si Edgar Allan Guzman?
Deadma Walking actor Joross Gamboa claims that he was nothing but “proud” of his co-star Edgar Allan Guzman.
“Siyempre sobrang happy kami at maganda yung feedback na natatanggap namin sa mga tao… At siyempre proud ako kay EA (Edgar Allan Guzman) at siya yung nanalo,” the actor states. (Of course, we’re very happy that we got good feedback from people. And, of course, I’m proud of EA since he won [Best Supporting Actor].)
Although he lost to All of Me lead actor Derek Ramsay for the Best Actor award, he says that he did not feel bad about it.
“Bakit naman? Bakit ako masasaktan?” he states. “Basta na-appreciate ng tao yung ginawa naming… yun ang importante.” (Why would I feel bad over it? What’s important is when people appreciate our work.)
He also didn’t feel bad regarding the billing shown in the movie, even saying that he was not “billing-conscious.”
“Siyempre support, bida, kahit cameo lang ako… Sa akin wala namang problema yun… Hindi naman ako billing conscious, kami pa. Basta masaya kami dito sa Deadma Walking at dito masaya lahat, good vibes.” (With whatever role I get, I don’t mind. I’m not really billing-conscious—we all aren’t. As long as we’re happy on set, we’re okay.)
