Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar Dela Hoya is serious in his plans to comeback to the boxing ring, According to Dela Hoya, he’s just waiting for the right time to hold his comeback to his beloved sport.

He says that he ‘s already training and getting in shape to get ready once he steps back into the ring.

“I’m serious (about returning), I’m still training, we’ll see what’s going to happen, I’m still training,” said De La Hoya.

Dela Hoya also took time to criticize undefeated American boxer and former rival Floyd Mayweather Jr.

According to the Golden Boy, Mayweather ducked him and their rematch back in 2007.

“Mayweather (is throwing all of these things at me) and it’s obvious that he ran from our rematch, but for me the most important thing is that I feel good and I’ll continue training.”

“I’m still open to a possible comeback. I know it won’t be with Mayweather, because he does not like to fight real fighters,” says the Mexican legend.

Earlier, Dela Hoya already expressed his wish to fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Back in 2008, Dela Hoya retired after losing to Manny Pacquio in decisive fashion.

Meanwhile netizens noticed that he failed to mention Pacquio among the people he wants to fight. Some netizens are saying this is because he’s scared of Pacquio after being stopped via TKO by the Filipino boxer.
